Welcome
We are delighted to welcome you to ilurria in the heart of the Basque hills, in the charming little village of Macaye (30 minutes from Bayonne), in an authentic 18th-century farmhouse that has been completely renovated. We have taken care to renovate the main house and the sheepfold, combining modern comfort with old-fashioned charm, specifically to welcome groups of friends/family, courses, retreats and seminars related to well-being, rejuvenation or health.
A haven of peace and tranquility where you can recharge your batteries in a human-sized site, while enjoying the surrounding nature, spa, heated swimming pool (May to October) and magnificent walks all around the gîte.

Location
The main house combines comfort and conviviality, with open spaces for groups of 8 to 17 people.
You can gather by the fire, around the large wooden table or in the large living room for moments of sharing.
The rooms are modular, with particular attention paid to decoration and hotel-quality bedding.
Depending on your group, you can use the rooms individually – with their private bathrooms – or share them with two or four people.

The Bergerie Spa and activity room
ilurria is made up of several charming buildings set in a hectare of grounds, including the sheepfold, which has been converted into a wellness center with sauna and massage cabins.
The upper part of the sheepfold has been transformed into a 70m2 activity room, very bright with its high ceilings, large windows and bay windows opening onto Mount Baïgura with its beautiful wooden terrace.
Outside, there’s a year-round Jacuzzi and a heated swimming pool from May to October.

ilurria was the place we fell in love with – a magical, authentic place combining rejuvenation, nature and possibilities – on the one hand to create our fasting center and on the other hand to host wellness stays (yoga, women’s or men’s circle, dance, meditation, art therapies), seminars/team building and also vacations.
Today, ilurria is a place for exchanging, sharing and reconnecting with oneself, where we hope you’ll feel as at home as we do. We look forward to meeting you and showing you around ilurria to help you plan your stay.
